17-27th August 2017<\/b>\u00a0large scale site specific production FRAGT (Freight)\u00a0 <\/span>takes place in the industrial shipping- and container harbour of Aarhus<\/span><\/p>\n

Join us for a 3 hour journey by truck and boat, through the spectacular landscapes of containers from around the globe, and very big machinery…
\nFRAGT is revealing the story of an intricate global network of international freight, and of the gigantic vessels that carries everything that we consume, across the oceans of earth.
\nThis original performance includes a “Straddle Carrier Ballet” and choreography for a 100 m tall container crane. Actors, dancers, filmmakers and musicians accompany the audience on a journey deep into the restricted areas of Denmarks biggest container harbour.

Copenhagen Dream House artists, Pipaluk Supernova is choreographing and Andreas Bennetzen is composing the music.
\n<\/span><\/span>As part of our \u201cDance Territory\u201d exchange project, artist collaborators from Burkina Faso have joined FRAGT, dancing in the company of 200.000 tons of shea nuts, picked by hand in Burkina Faso, now stored in a warehouse in Aarhus.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The performance journey FRAGT is created by Anne Zacho S\u00f8gaard in collaboration with Pipaluk Supernova, original text by Peter-Clement Woetmann,\u00a0scenography Siggi \u00d3li P\u00e1lmason, film\u00a0Troels Engelbrecht.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

FRAGT is a production by Udflugten, in collaboration with Aarhus Theatre, European Cultural City 2017, and Copenhagen Dream House.<\/p>\n
