DANCE TERRITORY is an international zone inhabited by\u00a0young dancers, choreographers, artists and musicians. Beyond frontiers, \u00a0across from boarders, ethnicity, religion and gender roles, DANCE TERRITORY is a place of new initiatives and free collaborations, a haven for exchange of artistic perspectives and personal experiences.\u00a0Through laboratories and workshops, we engage in dialogue and creation, bringing together artists from different parts of the globe.<\/p>\n

DANCE TERRITORY #1<\/strong> host a series of labs and site specific performances inviting contemporary performing artists from West Africa (Burkina Faso) to meet with Danish, European, Indian and American dancers and musicians, the ‘artists in residency’ projects takes place in Copenhagen and Aarhus, Denmark. Our aim is to gain a renewed perspective on the global community that we are all part of.<\/span><\/p>\n

The artistic anchors of our exchange program\u00a0DANCE TERRITORY #1<\/strong> are Lacina Coulibaly<\/strong>, choreographer\u00a0(Dance Territory South) and Pipaluk<\/strong>, choreographer (Dance Territory North), in collaboration with Ouagadougou dancers Esther Tarbangdo,\u00a0Bachir Tassembedo,\u00a0Kiki Jean Robert Koudogbo,\u00a0Mariam Traore, and musicians Issouf Diarra, Boureima Diarra, Nad\u00e8ge Ouedraogo and Cyril Moss\u00e9.<\/p>\n
